Gailes is a suburb in the City of Ipswich in Queensland, Australia. It is located 23km from Ipswich and is surrounded by the suburbs of Goodna, Wacol, Carole Park, and Camira. Before it was gazetted, the area was previously known as Dingo Hill. 

The origin of the suburb name is from the Western Gailes Golf Course in Ayshire, Scotland. Being an outlying area of Goodna, the suburb was the location for the Goodna racecourse and the Goodna golf course. Before it was established, a railway station existed and the whole area was known as Pullen Pullen Flats. 

Gailes is serviced by the Gailes railway station which provides access to regular Queensland Rail City network services to Brisbane, Ipswich, and Rosewood. The suburb is comprised of two parts: the golf course and part of Wacol north to the municipal boundary of Brisbane and the residential part south of the boundary in Ipswich.
