Goodna is a suburb on the eastern edge of the City of Ipswich in Queensland, Australia. The suburb is located 20km from the Brisbane central business district and is just outside the Brisbane City Council area. The suburbs surrounding Goodna are Redbank, Moggill, Wacol, Gailes, Camira, and Bellbird Park. The suburb of Goodna is located as the centre point between Ipswich and Brisbane. It is also bounded to the north by the Brisbane River. 

The area was founded in 1856 when it was still a part of New South Wales. In 2006, the suburb celebrated its 150th anniversary. The area was originally visited by an exploration party led by John Oxley in 1823. Goodna sits on Jaggera land, the original Aboriginal grouping being the Yerongpan people who continue their culture today. The Goodna train station was opened in 1875.

 Feeder bus services operated by the Westside Bus Company which carry commuters from surrounding suburbs to and from the Goodna train station. Schools in the suburb include Goodna State School, St Francis Xavier School, Westside Christian College, and Goodna Special School. St Francis Xavier Church is one of the heritage listings in the suburb.
