Inala is a suburb of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. It is located 18km southwest of the Brisbane central business district. The suburb is surrounded by Darra, Richlands, Forest Lake, Doolandella, Durack, and Oxley. Inala Avenue is the main roadway from east to west while Serviceton Avenue and Blunder Road are the main roads stretching from north to south. 

Newer estate Forest Lake can be found in the south border of Inala. Wacol is located in the west while Willawong, Acacia Ridge, and Pallara are located in the east. Buses conduct services from the Inala bus station near the Inala Plaza shopping centre, through the Inala suburb, to railway stations nearest to Inala: Richlands, Darra, and Oxley. The suburb has bus connections to Moorooka and Coopers Plains train stations, South Bank, and the Brisbane City via the frequent express bus route 100.

 Inala got its name from the indigenous word meaning “resting place”, as it used to be a traditional stopping point for indigenous travelers on their way east to the Moreton Bay region prior to colonisation. There are various shopping precincts within Inala. The largest precinct in Inala is the Inala Plaza, the “Civic Centre”.
