Mackenzie is a small suburb located in the southeast of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is located 20km from Brisbane central business district via the South East Freeway. Surrounding Mackenzie are the suburbs Carindale, Mansfield, Wishart, Rochedale, Burbank, Chandler, and Belmont. 

The suburb is partially covered by undeveloped bushland. Neighboring suburbs include Belmont, Carindale, Mansfield, Rochedale, Upper Mount Gravatt, Wishart, Burbank, and Chandler. Major roads such as Mount Gravatt, Capalaba Road, and Gate Motorway run through Mackenzie. Mackenzie has two churches and one school, the Mackenzie State School.
