Bald Hills is known as the northernmost suburb of the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Bald Hills is surrounded by other suburbs such as Strathpine and Brendale. Other suburbs that surround it are Bridgeman Downs, Carseldine, Fitzgibbon, Bracken Ridge, and Griffin.

The suburb is large and residential. It’s mostly surrounded by bushland but, in the last few years, some of the bush areas have been cleared to make way for new residential areas. Bald Hills borders onto Bald Hill Flats which is a large floodplain on the western side of the suburb that’s used for grazing cattle.

Bald Hills got its name from two small hills in the South Pine River Valley floor. In 1857, the very first land sales in the area now occupied by the suburb occurred. In 1866, Bald Hills State School opened. By 1886, the land sales around the Bald Hills railway station were advertised.
